There are lots of useful accounts at UCSD to follow. ACT has created an overall Twitter aggregator for UCSD, but it's down a lot. Try it at http://twitter.ucsd.edu
Another way to identify "official" UCSD accounts is this Custom Google search, limited to Twitter accounts with UCSD in the name.
